At Big Red Music, colorful and percussive scores have been a specialty for the past ten years. Founding composer, Jim Casella has earned worldwide recognition as a music arranger for the internationally acclaimed competitive ensembles, The Cavaliers from Rosemont, IL, where he currently works, as well as the Santa Clara Vanguard drum and bugle corps from Santa Clara, California where he was an arranger/composer from 1996-2004.

Casella's scores have been heard on PBS's "Summer Music Games" broadcast each Summer since 1996 and were most recently heard in Regal Cinemas across the country during the live 2006 coverage and on ESPN2 during the DCI broadcast. His TV spots for clients such as Cadillac, ABC College Football, and Goodwill Industries have aired nationwide during such prestigious events as the Olympics and Super Bowl Sunday, and local spots for the Oregon Lottery, Portland, Metro, Vancouver Ford, and Izzy's Pizza have been equally well received. His recent film score for Brian Pulido's "There's Something Out There" has been receiving great attention, and is a testament to the effectiveness of his musical contributions.
